Dyo Tzitzikia st’ Armyrikia (22810 71151). Greek cuisine. An all-day restaurant on the beach with highlight the sunset view in the Kini cove. For grilled or fried fish, seafood appetizers and mezedes (Greek tapas).
Allou Gialou (22810 71196). Greek cuisine. All-day restaurant featuring a large deck overlooking the sea. Its “trademark” is the pendant aquarium. Menu includes a wide array of appetizers and focuses on seafood, without disregarding classic Greek recipes.

Mitsos (22810 88253). Greek tavern featuring panoramic views to Ermoupolis, offering a variety of meats and a few traditional dishes.
Empati (694 4518158). A wonderful balcony with unique views. For fine grilled local meats.
ANO SYROS
Lilis (22810 88087). Greek cuisine. This traditional tavern has a half-century-long history and the “aura” of the famous Markos Vamvakaris, folk singer of “rebetiko” and songwriter. The lovely terrace offers panoramic views to Ermoupolis. The delicious dishes pay respect to the Greek gastronomical tradition.
ERMOUPOLIS
Avant Garden (22810 79416). Fine Dining. One of the best gourmet restaurants in Syros featuring a lovely garden. It is opposite the famous Apollon Theater. Chef Konstantine Bouradas creates gourmet dishes, always with a twist. Sample the delicious appetizers and the sweets, and order a fine wine from his exquisite list. Reservation is required.
San Michali Food and Culture (694 5330074). Contemporary Cuisine. A renowned restaurant in Vaporia, offering excellent view to the sea. Working with fermentations and his own raw materials, utilizing the power of the wood oven, looking at the tradition of Cycladic cuisine but also the cuisines of the world, talented young chef Alexandros Karakatsanis serves food that you will remember for a long time! His menu is divided in categories such as “Garden”, “Dough”, “Sea”, “Land”, “Premium steaks”. Reservation is required.
ERMOUPOLIS
Amvix (22810 83989). Authentic Italian cuisine.
For homemade pasta and Italian food. It is housed in an old industrial warehouse in front of the port.
Doctor Wine (22810 87531). Wine bar, near the port. More than 100 labels from the Greek and International terroir, wine paired plates, jazz/ethnic background music.
POSEIDONIA
Perroquet Tranquille (22810 45700). French cuisine. Sheltered in a traditional stoned house with a small terrace, in the heart of Poseidonia, this bistro offers a selection of tastes from the delicious cuisine of the French Provence. Menu includes a variety of starters, main-courses and succulent desserts.
GALISSAS
Iliovasilema (22810 43325). Greek cuisine. Very close to the beach, the experienced chef and owner Kostas Bouyouris makes a remarkable culinary proposition, putting an emphasis on fresh local ingredients depending on seasonality.
Savvas (22810 85000). Greek cuisine. Located by the sea, in the center of the settlement. George has created an eclectic menu including authentic Greek recipes which, according to him, arouse memories of the old days! Fish, meat and pasta dishes are all delicious, made with fresh materials he grows in his own field in Pagos.
