Fifteen minutes drive from Ermoupolis, just 800m. away from Kini beach, you find yourself in front of Captain’s Boutique Hotel, a family run property, open all year round. Even if you are not our guest, it is worth making a stop. Our hotel exudes peaceful authenticity and boasts generous 360 degrees views towards the Aegean Sea -so come in for a cup of coffee and let us show you around.
Our hotel offers an unrivaled combination of authentic hospitality, intuitive experiences and tailor-made activities. Dedicated to meeting contemporary expectations, we constantly upgrade apartments and services.
The complex is built in a traditional style. It is just uphill from the famous sandy Kini bay, surrounded by the Cycladic landscape. It comprises 10 stylish spacious, apartments with large terraces, all looking out onto the sea, plus 2 studios.
There is a lovely swimming pool to relax by, with poolside dining and refreshments available. The large common terraces, commanding views to the Aegean Sea, are ideal for enjoying our rich breakfast, coffee, drinks/cocktails, lunch, dinner. To enhance the culinary experiences we organize Private Dining.
Our pool area is ideal for sunrise yoga and Pilates. We also organize aqua aerobic lessons and personal training and offer therapeutic massage services in the privacy of your apartment.
Finally, as our regular guests know, Captain’s is pet friendly -and we are happy to introduce you our own lovely cats, Zizel, Skip and Carrot!

Accommodation & Services
Apartments feature furnished balconies with panoramic sea views and have a capacity of 1-4 guests. They are spacious and feature custom-made furniture and decorative objects. Colorful touches meet the Cycladic minimalistic lines in a lovely mix & match. Hand-crafted elements are made or restored by Chryssa and Apostolis -their great love, in fact, are mirrors made with sea washed woods! Bedroom windows and balcony doors draw your eyes outdoors toward the Aegean Sea, while you unfold on your comfortable double, or King Size, bed with the stress-free mattress. All apartments feature equipped kitchens.
Guests are greeted by Elsa who sees to every possible desire and comfort. Spacious common areas’ highlight includes a mix & match of decorative items collected over the years.
At the large relaxing verandas with sea views you will enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, cocktails, “wine hour”.
Ready for the famous Babis’s rich breakfast? It includes sourdough bread, pies, juices, sweets and other delicacies, and will keep you going all morning.
The in-house restaurant serves dishes of the day, Go traditional with Greek recipes and sample the occasional surprise of fresh fish brought by Apostolis, passionate lover of underwater fishing.
Snacks are served all day in the pool area, or your apartment.
*Mind that the restaurant holds back tables for non-hotel guests, who can also book a Private Diner.

At Captain’s you won’t need to wonder how to occupy time during your stay! A lot of tailor-made activities are available upon request. Our new digital travel guide is created by travel writer Vali Vaimaki, who joined forces with us. So just read it and go around Syros …like a local.
Syros is also about trekking. Professional guides will take you off the beaten track to show you the island’s unspoiled beauties.
Sea lovers will enjoy sea sports and speedboat rides on the inaccessible picture-perfect beaches of northern Syros. Or, join Apostolis in underwater fishing. Horse riding is also included in services.
