Enjoy Captain's dishes of the day

At Captain’s in-house restaurant we go traditional (without excluding the Mediterranean cuisine) and put the focus on fresh local produce.

Vegetables, aromatic herbs, spices, cheeses, olive oils -many of our ingredients are seasonal and grow on Syros or other Aegean islands.
Plus, sourdough bread and home-made pies, as well as fresh eggs hand-picked from the nearby coops.
We also organize Cooking Courses and Private Dinning. 


A glance at the menu

Dishes of the day are available during August. They include recipes like Rustic potato salad, San Michallis Syrou and “xinotiri” Syros cheese with traditional crispy bagel, Greek salad and “Dakos” (barley rusk with tomatoes, capers, spring onions and feta cheese), octopus with fava cream… If you choose the grill, then you will sample Captain’s all-time classic special burgers, beef patties mixed with fresh herbs, pork sausages from Syros, chicken burgers.
We also have a secret… weapon: Fresh fish brought to our kitchen by our colleague Apostolis with underwater fishing. Stamina should be reserved for our sweets.

Club and Greek sandwiches  or other snacks are included in our menu served from 14.00-12.00 a.m. during summer season.

Our drinks list includes beers, wines, refreshments and cocktails. Sit at our laid-back verandas, or your balcony and enjoy meal or dinner with a view to the Aegean Sea. Specially during sunset you will feel truly privileged!

Our open-air wood oven

Bake like a … Greek. We unravel the secrets of baking food in the open-air wood oven. Together we make sourdough bread, cheese or spinach pies with hand-made pie crust. Or, prepare classic Greek casserole dishes to be slowly baked in the wood oven. Just like the ones we enjoyed at grandma's house on Sundays!
